my favorite memory from 2011 was... playing with my puppy, Cooper. I had to give him back after a few months, so it's sad, but it's also my favorite♥

My favourite memory of 2011... hmm, not sure, but one I will always smile at is remembering how I saved up and up, until I could afford to buy my own rabbit. He makes me more than happy. More than I can say.

My favorite memory:
It would have to be a few days before Christmas. I was getting ready (aka putting the makeup on and fixing my hair) in front of my giant mirror that sits on the floor. Chris came in to give me "my gift" for that day. He brought his guitar, sat on the bed, and played the song he had written especially for me. *tears* What girl doesn't wish a handsome stud would right a song just about their life??

Memory, you and your sister have been such an inspiration in my life this year and I haven't even seen you very often! I always look forward to reading your blogs. Your lives are beautiful in a way that I don't know how to describe.

Ok, I'm done with the cheesy stuff. :D

My favorite memory is my birthday! My mom surprised me with being able to see my mentors, (including you, Mem! :)) She also surprised me by throwing a surprise party with all of my buddies. She had a bunch of people I know write affirmation letters to me, also.

I love your blog! You've been doing a great job!

Hmm... That is really tough. I had a really great year!

I think one of my favorite memories would be moving here to Demop to start the work here. The drive was so nerve-wracking, but I was making the trip with my husband and our sweet child and that made things a lot better. The reason it's my favorite memory, though, is because we'd been without a job for a while. Like five months. And we went through a lot of emotions... it's so not fun being jobless and having to move back in with your parents after you've already moved back home once! And it's so tough to find a job anymore for young preachers! Anyway, we had gotten to the point where we were getting discouraged, and down to literally the last few $$ in the bank, and those HAD to be used for bills.

And then Carl got the job... and moving here just really reminded me Who is in charge. And it's humbling to know that God cares for even little old me -- but He does and every time I remember the first time we moved here (honestly can't believe it's been a year!!), I remember that God is the One who put us here... I am ever thankful!

Thanks for the heads up about the giveaway! Love you!

Oh dear. I might be too late, but will leave my favorite memory anyway. It would have to be my trip to Switzerland this summer, getting all dressed up and being taken to a fancy venue by my hubs.

Thanks for inviting me to your giveaway... The necklace is lovely!

hey lovely lady! We have had so many wonderful things happen to us this summer. But the most memorable would be going to Sedalia, MO for Simmental Junior Nationals.
We were there for 9 days, it was 110 every day. Our boy had to do 4 contests to be eligble to show at the end of the week. And he met so many kids that share his passion for showing and simmental cattle. It built his confidence and we made so many memories.
So I would say that is a memory I will always cherish for our family.

My favorite memory was spending 2 weeks this summer with my boys in California. Extended trips are going to be harder when Saxon starts kindergarten next year, so I'm enjoying the time that I have when my boys are all mine :)

I'm going to follow now and add you to my Google Reader!

Fav memory from the past year? My dad handing me his hanky on my wedding day. It wasn't a super nice one (kinda stained... tmi?) but I clung to it and wept the tears of a stressed out woman. He has always knows what to say, er, when to just hand me a hanky and shut up.

My favorite memory is probably when our whole family sat around the warm fire drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows and reading a Christmas book. It was wonderful to be together near Christmas time.
